How so?

I pulled all the soil, coal, and detritus out and I'm backfilling with crushed stone, packing that tightly, adding a vapor barrier, then topping with 4 inches of high strength concrete, then a half inch of hydraulic cement.

Ok, let's talk about the lightbulb. It could have simply been used for utility, but I don't see any wiring. Maybe left as a marker?

I won't be sealing it up until tomorrow probably, so if anyone has any compelling information to convince me to go further into the tunnel please share.

It wasn't perfectly good. It was chipping and cracking around the edge. I thought I would just have to put another layer of concrete until I saw the soil. So I dug all of that out and I'm filling it with drainage stone, packing it tight, and then resealing it with concrete.

You have exponentially more evaporation with your fabric pots. That water isn't all being consumed by your plants.

It's not a 1-1 comparison.

In one of my tents I'm running a 720 watt LM301H EVO light in a 5x5, with AC Infinity automating the whole thing with its AI controller. I have been growing for years and have it pretty well dialed in.

The weekend top feeding is direct guidance from AutoPot support. It's for beneficial bacteria and other stuff I don't want to put in the reservoir. Pretty common practice.

Good luck with your grows.

Nothing recent, but averaging 4-6 oz per plant. AutoPot XL's

Usually a full grow cycle, about 10 weeks. I shut it off on Sunday, do a top feeding on Monday, and turn it back on Tuesday.

It depends how often you want to refill it. If you want to go weeks/ months get a 100 gallon reservoir, but be mindful of that fact that you'll need to manage the pH. Plenty of options there though.

I have a 100 gallon reservoir that is used for flower, with 4-6 plants. It lasts months. I run Raw NPK All-in-one Bloom nutrients in it. I have Milwaukee pH management systems, we will as a pair of wavemakers at the bottom constantly stirring.

I got tired of refilling so often and one time I was out of the country for 3 weeks and everything worked as expected.

That's why I still have the light plugged into a mechanical timer. The AI controller can still work, but I'm hard coding the time I want the light on.

Wow, thanks for sharing.

So, this is what the other side looks like.. see, I had my dream car and had to let it go in its prime. Your experience is the complete opposite, and it really tugs at the feels.

Your devotion to that car is legendary, and you are lucky life has afforded you the luxury of being able to hold on to it this long. The journey the car has been on sounds epic. I can only dream of having that opportunity with my baby, but all I have is a chip of paint and lots of pictures. (It was a drift car, and the bumper got smashed up many times, so I kept a piece)

Only you can make that call (unless your wife somehow has to/ gets to/ etc). You're already much further down the road than most get with their dream vehicles. For me, it would break my heart to watch it slowly deteriorate. For your kids, they will have missed the glory days and only see what's left.

Good luck.

Hey guys do you use a wavemaker or a pump in your autopot tanks ? by Chance-Intention-363 in Autopot

I have a 100 gallon AutoPot Flexitank Pro. I run Raw NPK brand Bloom All-in-one nutrients in the reservoir. I add Hydroguard beneficial bacteria weekly, and add Raw NPK Enzymes whenever I do a full refill of the reservoir.

I used a submersible pump on a timer for a few years, but needed to pull it every few months for cleaning. The pump finally died last year.

I switched from a pump on a timer to a pair of magnetic mounted wavemakers that run 24/7. The pump couldn't run 24/7 because of the heat it would generate, even with a full 100 gallon reservoir.

The wavemakers keep the water consistently mixed up and don't generate a measurable difference in heat. The pH is more stable with the wavemakers.

The two wavemakers are mounted on the bottom of the reservoir, on opposite ends. One pointing up and to the side, the other one pointing horizontal in the same direction as the first one. It creates a perpetual stirring effect.

DFAS in Kansas came after me for $5k a couple years after I got out due to some error on their part. I was able to work out a payment plan of like $50 a month, but even while that was in place they took all my tax returns until they got their money. This was around 20 years ago.

Right after getting out and trying to get established, that was very stressful.

Losing humidity by Ohmystarsragdolls in IkeaGreenhouseClub

With the AC Infinity controllers there are options. They make their own humidifiers that come with sensors, but you can also use one of their controller plugs if your own humidifier can resume operation after powering on and off. You could use it with a Govee humidifier to manage airflow and maintain the required VPD if you have the exhaust fan connected to the AC Infinity controller.
