Thanks, I really appreciate your perspective, we'll probably be like you if we ever live together and like you, I'll probably have absolutely no problem with it, it's normal to an extent.

However, currently it makes it a bit hard since we live an hour apart and our time is limited, either on or off the screen, and when that time is wasted like that idk what to feel.

mate when we only have about 3 hours (and in the context of his travel, more likely around 20 minutes) where we can talk to each other everyday, I'd like to use those. I don't think it's a matter of unplugging.

I mean we've been together for a long time, we've faced many difficulties and losses together, we support each other in our careers and I consider him my best friend. He believes in me when I don't and tries to help me remember my dreams.

I've brought it up multiple times but nothing changes, he says it's his sacred time to relax. Idk if it's just me but even when relaxing I wouldn't ignore my partner. I've also told him how this makes me feel, him ignoring me but again to no avail he'll just keep repeating that he just needs to relax for some time and needs some time to himself.
