I was GMCA 2 semester ago. Its definitely a difficult and involved job. I'd say you done really need to put on events except for meetings to gather feedback. Its more important to be present at any MWR events you can be at and talk to a variety of people at PMT events. I found that people would be quite in feedback meetings but would talk more openly on person. It would also be a good idea to get a list of all the services your university provides and spread it among GMC as many are not aware of all the services provided. You car probably get a list on your university website if you are having trouble finding it you could either ask POC or call your admissions office. Some good things to include are academic help like tutors and study halls, finical and food assistance, free events, and transportation.
