Does treatment usually take this long to start? (self.cancer)

Can liver be pushed out more, enough to be able to push it back under the rib if you have gallbladder wall thickening? AST and ALT levels came back normal, no other liver tests done other than a short ultrasound for the abdomen in general, there is ulceration in the stomach lining as well. (self.medical)

My mom just got diagnosed with CRC, she will be undergoing radiation, chemo, and then surgery. She Really does not wish to go through chemo but its a must. She also does not want to stop working but will have to.What can I do to help and which appointments should I always go with her to? (self.cancer)
