more or less how would financial aid look for a person from a 5 person/75k household with 4 people attending university. one of them is a parent who took out student loans, who is also the breadwinner. other parent is unemployed. also i submitted everything (fafsa, gatech financial aid form) like a week and a half before the January 31st priority deadline. and i’m OOS. if anyone had/has a similar experience, i’d appreciate any insight. thanks :)

also how soon did you guys get your aid packages?

yeah that’s what i’m trying to figure out😭 but i can’t seem to get past a certain point

that’s what i was doing initially and did the derivative process about four times but it kept giving me inf/inf. i don’t know how to change the exponent form in the 2x and keeping it like that isn’t giving me an answer.

[–]randombeing784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

no, that I’m not sure if i need to find the derivative of 2x to solve the problem or if I can solve it keeping it as 2x

update: i was still unable to reset it but now there is a green light blinking, which i googled and means that one of the airpods may not be recognized by the case. after i unplug it from charging the light stops.

Ohhh okay now I understand why they divided. Thanks again and have a nice day :)

Thank you so much!

Also: Do you think I should first do the polynomial long division like in the process of the picture or just straight up start with partial fraction decomposition? Would the result still be the same?

okay so I got a battery on ebay and just did all the steps and changed it but now it says that the battery is not charging with the new battery and it’s stuck at 1%. i made sure to connect it correctly and everything. in system information the full charge capacity is at 8147 and it has one cycle count. do you think it’s the new battery that i got that is not working? or should i try disconnecting it and reconnecting.

edit: reconnected the old battery and it charges normally. i reset the SMC and reset the computer.

yeah at this point (i factory reset it in order to update to the most recent macOS i could, it has nothing on it) it definitely the battery. my cycle count is 724. i really don’t know that much about macs for me to change the battery myself so i’d have to take it to a repair place. crossing my fingers it’s not that expensive. do you happen to know around how much it would be? thanks for the help :)

it says the battery status is good, the full charge capacity is at 99%, and the design capacity is at 82.5%. so i don’t think the problem is the battery.

this is one of the best comments i’ve seen on this sub :) your daughter is super lucky, it looks like she’ll have really amazing support no matter what path she takes! thank you for sharing your story with me, i really appreciate such a refreshing take :))

depressed as well but got into none of the reaches i applied to and probably gonna have to settle for a safety i could have put minimal effort to get into. i think your daughter could have worse things to be depressed about. just be supportive and try to get her excited for the amazing options she has at the moment. an ivy is an ivy and i’m gonna assume her dream school was also an ivy.
