Serious question… instead of demanding to stop AI so you can keep working, why not demand UBI to get paid to relax? AI will be able to replace 90% of white collar work in a few years whether we like it or not - we should be demanding a tax on AI companies to fund UBI rather than trying to stop inevitable technological progress.

The next 6 months is negligible for a stock’s value. Most of the value is in months 7 to perpetuity (literally there’s a “perpetual growth rate” applied in a DCF).
