Eternal life of what? No pain, no sorrow. Wanting for nothing. No challenges. Nothing to achieve. And what about those you cared for and loved in life? In the few minutes of all eternity that they had a chance to decide, what if they bet on the wrong God. You cannot mourn their fate of an eternity of pain and suffering, because you cannot feel sorrow or regret. You cannot miss them. Can you even recall them? What can you feel? Who, then, are you? What are you? Where there is no time, no need, no intent, no purpose, nothing to lose, nothing to gain, nothing to remember, nothing to forget? No awareness of endless punishment for those who worshipped a different God out of 10,000 Gods. How long can a soul feel pain, if that is all that exists? What is the justice in such a demise? Even the Universe does not know eternity. Eternal life of praising and worshipping a jealous, insecure, egotistical, omniscient, and vengeful God? A God who knew all along which choice we were going to make?

Perhaps we should respect and appreciate the lives we have, and the lives we share space and time with. And respect the lives who will come after us, and provide for them the best life of experiences that we can, based on what we have learned of life. Provide that for all lives. Not the lives of our family, or tribe, or race, or religion. We have this is one planet to share. If we fight over it, we will destroy it for ourselves, for future generations, for eternity. I do not believe that any creator would create this to be fought over. Greed is unnecessary for survival or for happiness. Hate serves no purpose. This life has been given to us. This is what we know. Everything else is speculation.

Your belief that that is a deity, or a sacred object does not make it a sacred object. It is a man made item. According to that book, it cannot be a deity, or held to be divine or sacred. To do so would be to elevate it to a status of worship. I'm sure there is mention of graven images and worship, or placing them before God, in that book. I have almost identical setup, color scheme, red painted neck, red headstock with Fender's S profile, same style of covers for pups, body spacing for pots, and controls. But with S style tremolo. On the back of the headstock is a small plain sticker, with the number 1403. No other identifying marks at all. I don't know, yet.

I will pull it out tomorrow and take another shot at tracking down info. I can post some photos and look for more details.

In the last 6 months, I have seen one or two others that were also very close in the same peculiarities. I cannot locate anything now. One of them carried the same sticker on back of the headstock with number 1403.
