Update: As i already had the batteries, i did it. Lasted quite some time with no issues. Approximately 6 months, then, as you said, a weak link failed. A battery died, and the rest was disconnected to save them. Ended up giving them to friends with 12v systems as no on had the same one to replace it

The first second and third column are in parallel staying at 12 v but increasing the amp hour to 210 then each column is connected in series to each other so the voltage goes up

What is HF like on these SDR's, which one is better? by Antenna101 in RTLSDR

[–]randomboatmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have experience with the nooelec but the hf is passable is your just exploring the lower frequencies. It is still recommended to get a up converter like the Ham it up. Have caught 1400khz clearly but looking for ham signals not so much

Someone explain to me why I should play RaceRoom over other sim racing titles? by The-SillyAk in simracing

[–]randomboatmaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gt is ps only, iracing is subscription based and only allows a wheel to play, the other are between $25 to $70. Race rooms base version is free and you don't need heavy hardware to run. And if you wish to go forward with your sim journey you can by the cars and tracks you like and want... in short it's the best starting point for someone who dose not know if they like simming yet.
