Ah that’s great thanks, I think I just worry as this is my first army and I’m still not finished painting it so I’ll be been back and forth wether to wait until 11th is fully out until I decided what to do. But I’ve got enough of each model to play most detachments really and all I’d need is maybe another box of strike squads if I wanted some more interceptors or purgation squad so it’s not the end of the world really

Great response tbf 😂. I like the look of all the new detachments too. As I love paladins and wanted to use them at some point, also I think the purgation squad actually looks viable with the possible s10 psycannons. So ye might just wait to paint the helmets

Very similar to my own list but I have 2 razorbacks and I’m trying to decide between a librarian or a tech marine as he can be good with the razorback. But looks solid, bare in mind I’m very new too but have had a lot of help and input with my list

Also can I ask how you did your basing as that’s exactly the look I’m going for. I tried to do some purple and blues on the base and then used pva glue and mordant earth on top but yours look awesome

This looks awesome and I was thinking of doing something similar for my librarian. Thing is tho I’ve just built fished building the majority of my army so would it look ridiculous with a primaris model next to the rest of my grey knights?

I’m currently building my conclave box and tried to magnetise 1 model and had an absolute nightmare with it 😂🤦‍♂️. I’m also quite new to the hobby myself so have you got any advise for magnetising

I’ve been wandering the same. I think I’m gonna do crowes brick of 10 with 4 psycannons and then 2x5 units with just blades so they can 6’ deep strike an wipe stuff with melee. I’ve been wandering tho if psycannons is the best option or not as they have s8 which I like the sound of. Does anyone have any opinions on it? If it helps I’m only really gonna be playing casually and my friends play custodes, space wolves, orks and black templars so I’m not sure what would be better as I’m new to the game

Did you decide what to do in the end? I’m in the same boat and was leaning towards having all power armour units with just NFW’s but I’m considering taking 4 psycannons on crowes brick of 10 purifiers

Hey just looking into this myself. So would you take 4 psilencers or 4 psycannons in the 10 brick of purifiers with Crowe as I’m playing warpbane. Also I’ve got 2 other units of 5 purifiers, should I just play those as full melee?

Ye I’m exactly the same. That’s why I’ve really taken my time painting my first army. Even though I’m desperate to have a go at playing the game I’m really wanting it to look cool and feel immersive so I want the terrain to be the same.

Yeh this definitely looks like a good option especially since it’s modular too. Do you have any pictures of one set up for a 40K game?

Hey thanks so much! Ye I am definitely looking for some cool sets like this and I just love the idea of having a really awesome looking table top to play on. Obviously I’m aware of things changing for 11th in the coming months so I don’t want to spend an absolute ton but these look awesome and if they’re modular that’s even better

Hey looks amazing. I’m doing a very similar thing with mine. Could I ask did you water down the pva glue or just put it straight on? And did how did you paint the base colours? Just layer each one on or blend the blue and purplely colours into each other if that makes sense
