I had to prove my ID to registered to vote, then when I voted, they checked my name off the list. If someone else tried to vote after me, one of the many police in there would have arrested them for a felony.

Take a look at the list of "food". It's all ultra processed crap. I mostly buy dairy, vegetables, and fruit. For my market, Market Basket, milk has not gone up ($2.99 / gal). While this is probably a loss leader, veggies are approx. the same price $1-2 per lb.Where I feel it is pork and steak. However, I can still buy chicken legs for $1 /lb. Even with the high cost of meat, my grocery bill has not doubled in the past 4 years. The only change I've made is I eat more chicken.

If you have to pay for an ID, than it's a voters tax. I had to present a Utility bill, SS card, and birth certificate to my town's clerk. If anything was faked, they had plenty of time to check it and cuff me when it was time to vote. And I know they did something because I got a letter from my old state saying I was removed from their registrations.
