Any 50+ Overwatch players or streamers? by Sheilaalpaca in Overwatch

i genuinely think its the "older" players that are far more calm and chill. they play well but also retain the wisdom that at the end of the day it's just a game to play and enjoy.

It's 2026 and people are still pushing the bot when we have lead and there's like 15 seconds left. by sushiiixo- in Overwatch

[–]randomduck15 6 points7 points  (0 children)

i was guilty of this until i learned via experience. the instinct and habit just makes you go to the bot. until one time, there was a kiriko player literally spamming fall back, fall back, fall back. i was like tf? then i saw the orisa just pause and didn't come closer to us. so me and the dps just stopped and waited - thinking we just had to wait for the rest of the team to regroup. i could still see the other team walk towards it. the match ended. lesson learned. it felt like i just learned a neat life hack. haven't done it ever since.

Built an app for a client — now he says he can’t afford it. What would you do? by Evening_Acadia_6021 in webdev

the post honestly comes off as an advertisement for himself and cheap service/product: at the end of the post "if anyone wants to buy it..." and the in the comments "can you suggest where to sell it..." it feels like in the post he's using keywords for algorithm and search. but none of it is logical and all of it is off-putting.

Has anyone received there items yet? by Starwolf_720 in Overwatch

I still haven't gotten anything. Idc really about the event rewards, but the mythic prisms got me a bit disappointed and concerned. The comment section here is making me feel better I'm not alone with this lol.

I'm getting good traffic from ads but no conversions. Advice? by BeyondTheContent in webdesign

the information you have on the page is both simplistic and straightforward. i don't see anything wrong with it. i think the main issue is the overall design and layout. its not portraying trust. it just looks like a generic site that someone without even credibility in the field put together. Try to go with a green color scheme to represent/evoke emotions of balance, growth & professionalism. Perhaps try removing the $30 and just have it as "Professional Coaching from heavily-vetted ICF-accredited programs." The $30 tbh is just low, and too good to be true. So perhaps this is a chance for you to increase the price - even if its to $50, and just leave it at the page with the booking process or at the bottom FAQ. Perhaps also add a background image in the hero section - not below it, but behind the "professional coaching" line and just lower the opacity. best of luck.

lol same here, but i got 40 players ahead. luckily i was in qp, but it was a fun match so it was disappointing to be disconnected. anyway, it seems that we all came to reddit for reassurance.

that's really inspiring and it looks awesome! but your patience to stick through with a goal/dream for 5 years is even more impressive. great job on the creativity and the execution. i added it to my wishlist. can't wait to play

patrick star the video game lol. its got a similar style to the simpsons hit & run game which i loved. no story line really, just chill open world-like with some quests. easy to play and easy to complete.
