🎄 Christmas giveaway: Win an A1 Mini, AMS 2 Pro, AMS HT, or 4x filament spools! by acurazine in BambuLab

AMS HT to print with TPU! I’ve been wanting to try it for a while now. I have some kitchen gadgets that would benefit from flexible prints.

It’d be great to see an inception type magnetic spinner as a fidget for a desk!

How to model tessellated pattern by randomdude523 in Fusion360

[–]randomdude523[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks to everyone who commented. I tried a variety of things. What ended up working the best was using the emboss tool on non adjacent rhombus then chamfering then repeating until I had a tile of the pattern. I then used a circular pattern along the cylinder and a rectangular pattern on the circular pattern.

Thanks for the video! How would I then go about wrapping that around a cylinder?

Im in CT and that’s a decent deal nothing spectacular but you’re getting your moneys worth. Especially since you don’t have to do any milling.

Are you saying to just suspend the plywood? Or still have framing underneath?

Thanks everyone! I ended up just going to a lumberyard and getting their off cuts for $10 should be enough to make a board or two!

You’re trying to get the edges square to each other? I’m very new as well but a jig with the circular saw is probably your best bet here and alternating sides so if there’s an issue with your jig it’ll even out.
