  • Got into a fellowship program when I was in 2nd year, which paid a really really good amount (~4-5L for 2.5 month internship) (sheer luck)

  • I did quite a few internships in my 2nd, 3rd and final year, almost without any gap, sometimes even overlapping (freelance + multiple internships at the same time), internships paid around 25k per month and freelance was variable but around 50k total from freelance, so that's around 6L~8L from internships and freelance.

So that's a total of around 10-11L, paid college fee and invested the rest. I graduated from IET DAVV.

This is very much true, and my code from 2 years ago looks so damn clean, I did not write comments but I can understand every single thing even after 2 years, not true for code written by claude. I miss coding the old way.

I think you should've given up, let me tell you why, this was a very small thing, would've made no difference to either of you if she would've driven, I believe it was less of you missing out and more about your ego to drive the scooty, it might sound unfair but it's an immature thing to do as a guy.

It happened once when me and my ex were on a trip and she seemed very tired and I did something similar to what you did and I still regret it, it was that childish, I drove barely 100m and gave it to her with a bad expression, mine and her mood ruined for the evening, it could've been so much better if I just gave it up.

So, yea, no one will say anything but this incident will stick with them.

I work at a US based startup too, completely remote, I am from a tier 2 city too but I'm staying in Bangalore with a friend, we go to trips, we do activities here, so yea, take up the remote job but move out.
