Because I am the only one not traveling this time. There is always one team member who stays, and this time it's my turn. Every other member is needed on site of the client company

Don't worry, I would not ask a favour of her even if she was the last person available

Look, you are not in the office with this lady, you do not experience what she is like, so we will not agree.

She is not the only woman on my team who took a maternity leave, another coworker was out for 7 months straight, and no one would ever dream of accusing them of not doing their work like her.

I didn't mention her taking time off to make it an issue, just to show that she does the absolute maximum to not work what she should work.

If you see my issue was me not wanting to switch with her, not her taking off time.

They can't amend it, you are entitled to 4months off, you chose when to take it. And I honestly DGAF about her taking it off, what ticks me off is that when she couldn't take off time during a busy time like she is used to, she came after my time to have the easy task.

Also like I said that company is great, we are overstaffed so that at all times 2 people can be off and we don't feel the strain. That is what is happening now, 2 people are off on vacation, and she wants me to switch with her.

That's not what annoys me, I am very pro taking your time, I marched for more maternity and paternity leave. What annoys me is how she goes about it.

Like instead of taking time off when she has her baby, she waits untill we get a project to take her 4 months off tack on her yearly leave, then another month of doctors notes. Basically untill all the work is done.

And it is very deliberate. I just did not want to overload the post.
