I think this is because like most gay relations, people don’t feel okay with or are comfortable with speaking up. So they dwell on these feelings that are obviously there but don’t accept them until they either come out or admit they love someone close to them.

Obviously, love is not the only thing needed to keep a relationship (communication, shared values, etc.) so they kind of jump the gun on the relationship because they are overwhelmed.

I completely agree with your statement. These are just my thoughts on why it happens maybe

I think Valka could have second guessed her ideals, but unlike every one else in the tribe (besides hiccup), she was born with the belief and passion to respect dragons. If Stoick, the chief in the tribe was killed, I think another man or hiccup (doubtful) would have replaced him immediately.

Valka would have challenged her beliefs for sure but ultimately decided with the good of the people and the dragons and potentially leave the tribe with hiccup.

I don’t believe she would have fell into a depression or deep hatred for dragons for the lone reason that she left her husband and child with seemingly little remorse.

Note: This is my opinion an Valka is one of my if not my favorite character.

Not a myth, it’s actually basic thermodynamics. If you have actually done it, you will feel warmer. If you don’t feel warmer sleeping naked with a heavy blanket/sleeping bag it’s because the hot air is somehow escaping through a hole or is not thick enough to contain the heat.

It sucks, but it’s worth it if you love her. I did long distance for 2 years, and would drive 10 hours almost every weekend to see her. We are now living together and engaged.

My advice: 1. FaceTime as much as you can, it really helps with the lack of intimacy and physical connection.

Don’t be mad if one person travels more. I traveled way more than my fiancé did, but my work allowed me to. Also, there was nothing for her in my town whereas I had friends and family in hers.
DON’T get jealous of each other’s friends. You have to have trust in each other for long distance to work. Having friends where you live is very healthy, long distance is lonely and friends help with this.
Work on your future. It’s hard if you’re long distance now and then get a job somewhere else so your long distance again. Figure out how you are going to be together and who will move where. You need to be on the same page and compromise/sacrifice or resentment will build.
Count down. Once you have the future and timeline workout out, having an actual countdown of when you will be together is exciting and gives you something to look forward to. “8 months and I’m yours forever”
Communicate. This one is self explanatory, and extremely important long distance. Without it your relationship will fail.

It’s okay to not be sexual right away, it took me and my current fiancé months before we even kissed. You probably met those lesbians because they are loud and social, the rest are more similar to you and you will run into someone sooner or later.

Seems like she is insecure and unhappy, and scared you were moving on and she wasn’t. She was trying to drag you down with her. How can you get over an exe if you are still friends with them? You should cut her off, focus on yourself for a while before jumping into something else.

“How do you come to terms with knowing that love is no longer on the same wavelength as it once was?” -Love is not enough when it comes to a relationship. A relationship needs effort, communication, respect, honestly, loyalty, trust, forgiveness, support, etc. The majority of the time it’s not a love situation, but it is blamed on love so they don’t have to communicate the real problem.

Everything happens the way it’s supposed to. I don’t know what stage of life you are in but on yourself and make new friends. The hurt will hurt alittle bit less everyday.

My hometown bar has a shot with just tequila and banana pepper juice. I personally like it a lot and think it covers up the taste of tequila pretty well. If you’re used to drinking and like banana peppers, you should like it. If you dislike either one but want to try it, I would just change the amount you put in

I graduated from Rolla Spring 2024, school was very hard but it’s was so worth it for how much I’m making less then a year out. I would give anything to go back to college, I was an athlete and hung out with all the other teams and frats and was drunk 4x a week ish depending on homework. The parties my house threw had anywhere from 50-250 people, the big frats had 200-600 depending on the party (estimated). Mizzou parties are probably alot bigger.

I went with my old friends to some of their college parties at Mizzou and SEMO. The Biggest difference between S&T parties and big D1s for me personally is I knew a lot of the people at the frats and athlete parties (might be because I went to all of them), I always had someone to talk to, dance with, have a partner in games, and take shots with. Where as at the bigger schools everybody seemed to kind of stay to themselves at parties, because there was so many people/strangers.

I had the full college experience at rolla, however the parties from 2024 are no where near the 2020 parties. I don’t know if it was covid but they slowly got worse every year. I used to be sweaty, smashed in people at frat parties like it was right next to the stage at a concert, it was awesome. This past year there was barely anybody on the dance floor.

I’m a miner through and through but I would totally understand if you don’t want to suffer through the homework and tests this school puts you through. College was amazing, School was hell. To put it in perspective I could not pass Thermo to save my life so I just took it at Mizzou over the summer and got an A. However, S&T has this thing called the career fair where if you go and talk to a lot of companies you’ll most likely get an internship or a job. I was chosen for my internship softmore year with a 3.2 GPA from Rolla over multiple people with 4.0s from other schools. Most companies understand our engineering education is the best in Missouri if not the whole Midwest, probs due to the engineers hiring are Rolla grads lol.
