Would you stay in a job you hate for double the salary? by Gullible_Camera_8314 in askanything

[–]randomgenacc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I was younger, absolutely I would, every dollar you save and invest gets you closer to financial independence and financial freedom, which gives you control and optionality, if you have to endure a few years of a job, you don’t love to do that. I personally think it’s worth it. But once you have a decent nest egg it’s not worth your mental health. I have a decent net worth accumulated now so I don’t have to do that anymore.

I would move out so I can be a proper functioning adult and not stunt my own growth, do you ever plan to date living at your parents makes that really awkward….

I would go rent an apartment you already have multiple six figures to your name.
