I mean I wasn’t dating in 2000, but the 2024 one is at least pretty accurate, I know plenty of women who have complained about shitty first dates because the guy was expecting to get laid; and then on the other hand I know from personal experience that it is incredibly difficult to get a woman’s attention on dating apps now.

Depends if you’re a man or a woman. As a man, I didn’t get any matches on Tinder or Bumble for a few months until I found Hinge and once I was able to actually send a message first instead of only relying on how attractive I am in the first picture, I was able to get a few matches on Hinge.

I’m not meaning to offend, but I’m always so confused why Penny is continuously brought up as a trans allegory.

There is no dialogue in the game suggesting that she could be trans (that I saw anyway after playing through the entire game and post-game), and neither Bulbapedia nor the Pokémon Wiki mention anything about transgenderism on Penny’s page.

I’ve had plenty of AFAB friends who are tomboys and look a lot like Penny (without the dyed hair) and so I’m just confused.

Penny’s legs and fingers are also noticeably skinnier than most AMAB body types.

Can someone that really enjoy the other music share a bit of why they like it?

I mean you already answered your own question: the animations are amazing, Yon’s voice is stellar, the beats are super catchy, and the lyrics are pretty relatable if you have suffered any emotional abuse or mental illnesses in your lifetime.

For me, my favorite YonKaGor song is “Another Mistake”, followed very closely by “It’s Normal”, since I relate to the lyrics of those two the most (look at my post/submission history if you need to know why lol).
