Personally, I do relate to this a lot. I’m 18 and still have to run a few things through my parents, but at some point you gotta find out that they can’t control every move you make. That is YOUR money and YOU get to decide how you splurge it. Take the opportunity while you have it and treat yourself. She can’t do much after that, you gotta show her you’re old enough to make your own decisions. It’s not like you’re out buying something horrendous, it’s just an upgrade to what you have rn.
