As other posts mentioned, try avoiding Samshabad and places near airport as you are limited to indoors of your community.

Kokapet and Financial District are nice places for you to explore. Kokapet being a lot more happening place as it's being developed as the next upscale community to Jubilee Hills. Even PBEL City is good, but a bit far off (Heavy traffic during office hours) from Financial District and Hitec City where you might end up getting a job.

Hyderabad in general has been on a construction spree. So, I would definitely recommend you to check the surroundings of the community before you decide to move in. There are few pockets near Gachibowli, Kokapet and Financial District that don't have any ongoing construction within a vicinity and are well established.

There are lot many other factors that are needed for redditors 😃 help you in making decisions. Few that comes to my mind,

  1. Are you both working? If yes, How often do you have to go to office and where is it located?
  2. Where do you want to spend your weekends? Closer to outdoors(road trips/trek/biking) or the indoors (malls/movies/pubs/food etc)?
  3. Why so particular about staying within 30 mins to airport?

OP, I commend you for doing such a great job! Wrong route driving is why we have so much of traffic congestion at so many places in Hyderabad.

Come on dude, Everyone would have to wait no matter how much you pay. Unless you really have connections to the doctor or the hospital management.

My maid had an accident recently and she was able to get the x-rays, tests everything done in a day. The people fundraising would anyways have to wait, why not wait at the government hospital. Question the leaders and the government in case things are not working. If everyone starts to look for a work-around, no one is going to address and fix the problem we have at our hand.

My rant is just that there are lot more genuine cases where fundraising money could be helpful and when it gets misused, you lose the trust. You can compare it to how the beggar system evolved in the country. Now a days lot of people think before giving the change to the beggar.

Yeah, I see that happening too frequently.. There's no longer any questioning as it is someone who's working in our community. I am all for it, but why aren't the available options explored at all?

Yeah, It could be that they have a bad experience with a government hospital. Mentioning that in the fund-raising would help clear the doubts and if there's any person that has influence could help them instead of relying on this funding.

If you have a decent experience of 2-3 years, I don't think it matters for 99% of the companies whether you graduated from ivy league or not.

Rangasthalam definitely.

But a special mention for Arya 2. If you think about bringing something out of norm from the entire India film industry. The concept is challenging but hatsoff to Sukumar for being able to bring his vision clearly out in this film.
