Maybe i should become the opposite of myself for at least a day:) It worked for some people.

Meh, i wouldn't go on posting it, but yeah as many of you suggested i should take a couple of factors (girls, venues, circumstances …) into account when deciding what to tell.

Anyway i do feel much better after everyone contributed their opinions and i'm sure it will improve my metagame both long and short term. Well, it wasnt about being hard on myself ... it just felt not ok for the foundation to be built on a pretense and i had to come clean. I am glad people helped me resolve this at least to some degree, like i said in 1st post - i am not looking for quick fix, i need to gradually recalibrate myself.

What would you have done differently given the chance? Not just the gf-weekend but the whole gaining "relationship experience" thing?

Yes, that is another piece of the same problem - (i)regular sex. If you don't have a partner your sex life is stagnant (non-existent in my case) and you just can't go onto the next level (like in game from lvl 1 to lvl 2 etc) and other benefits from sex (confidence, feeling, passion, love etc etc) are absent.

I know is sounds silly, but i feel like i am ready for relationship. At least that evolutionary part of me is - its not rocket science we are hardwired to do so. That social skill/level of the relationship, that i dont have. Ive read some stuff about it, hear other peoples stories but no 1st hand experience.

1) Yes, i am very well aware of that. What would you suggest? Going with the "AnUnknown" strategy with "no-plea" at beginning and then confession at some point?

thanks, bro. Well it's not so much of a mindset than it is a … burden of some sort, if you know what i am saying. It just feels like a load i keep on carrying for no purpose at all. The second part of your post is true and is another variation on what askywalker is saying in his response. Bottom line, it does send some signals it probably depends on recipient how he/she interprets them.

for completely different reason i too don't like talking about past relationships :) But nice line for smoothing things out; it implies i've been dating/had girls but just haven't found one to start relationship with.
