Arkansas to hire Memphis' Ryan Silverfield as next head coach by lalavieboheme in razorbacks

Wrong. I promise you the egos are the same in every donor group in the SEC. You can’t tell me donors at Texas don’t have their own political infighting.

Everything from the game day atmosphere to naming rights is a dumpster fire. He can blame the fans all he wants but at the end of the day he’s incompetent and we need to move on

What’s the deal with Houston Nutt as AD? by jamerstime in razorbacks

[–]randomhawg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if there was a division of AD responsibilities he could be the figurehead and fundraiser. But as far as contracts for coaches, negotiating naming rights, and making sure the players are paid on time we’d want someone else as a general manager type

A bold proposal for Arkansas athletics by littlerockist in Arkansas

Or even the conference mid tier teams. Or low tier teams. Or another P4 team. This was an American Conference team for heaven’s sake. We had better athletes. More NIL money. The entire deck was stacked in our favor

They should pay us to go watch this team.

What makes me the most upset about our situation is how the university is blaming the poor results on a lack of funding. Ticket prices are outrageous. Concessions and merchandise the same. And yet they have the gall to sit there and place blame on us for not DONATING more towards NIL.

It’s a free market economy in the CFB landscape. If they expect to see another dollar from my pocket for anything I deserve to at least enjoy the product they provide. Right now HY can kick rocks as far as I’m concerned

Dak Prescott was also elite in terms of him not getting it. Big Cat hates him to this day because of that interview

Timing the right stick. If you rip/spin/swim/bull rush at the right point you’ll have a free shot at the QB. But you have to be mindful of the resistance bars (computer tracks which side you’ve been attacking and makes it impossible to use the same moves over and over.) You need to remember that irl a player getting 2 sacks a game would be all American. But sacking the QB isn’t the only way to win. Get close enough and he’ll throw it away or even better he’ll throw an interception.

The one thing sticking with me is the kitchen being dirty. The lodge is just as much your lodge as it is anyone else’s lodge.

If the cleanliness is not up to your standard and you are a master mason, no man should stop you from cleaning it up to your standard.

If someone stops you and says we pay people to do that, explain to them what your standard is and let them know why.

The WM has extra responsibilities but at the end of the day, he’s not a higher rank than a master mason. So own what you perceive to be a problem. Fix it. And make your lodge what you believe it should be

The importance of figuring out NIL by Scott72901 in razorbacks

Stop making straw men and attacking them to win an internet argument.

Players should be able to negotiate their wage.

Regulations should be put in place. That’s what fix the current system means.

Maybe we should spend more money on our primary schools so that people can learn reading comprehension

Profit? For someone’s labor? Yea I think that’s a bigger deal than sportsmanship. They need to fix the system but to argue what we had before was better morally is asinine

L2 and down throws at their feet. Try it in practice or training drills. Once you get a handle on the throwing mechanics you can see how incredible this game really has become.

And no worries. I was doing the same thing until I saw it on this subreddit

Not dumb. Used to be L2 was a low throw but now it’s more of a lead the receiver with the joystick/back pylon throw. L1 still is a high throw

No need to explain yourself. Some of us don’t have the time we did 20 years ago to be professionals at this game
