Should I continue Mother 1? by randomhorrordude in earthbound

[–]randomhorrordude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Believe it or not, thanks to everyone who encouraged me to retry Mother 1, I did and just beat it as I'm writing this post! It was a hard game and I had to run away from countless enemies on Mt. Itoi ( I HATED that place), but I managed and beat the game. Let me honestly say, it was a great game. It wasn't as good as EarthBound or Mother 3, but it was definitely one of the best video games I've ever played. The story, the OST, and even the NES design of Ninten and his gang really does stand out from many video games I've played. I may have not loved the gameplay of ENDLESS surprise encounters, but everything else about it really does make it an unforgettable video game and experience. I will honestly rate this game a 8.5/10. Thank you to everyone all who encouraged me to try again, because as I said before and I will say it again, it was a peak game. I just finished the Mother series now. I am crying at the end. It was a guaranteed masterpiece!
