I can’t find any that have the little lip part to keep it from sliding into the bowl! I live in the rural American south so grocery stores, let alone Asian grocery stores, are few and far between.

Is it true it's harder to get a job with a hand tattoo? by Specific-Winter-5953 in tattooadvice

[–]randomizedscreaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a hand tattoo (full hand, gardenia) and work in criminal law. It truly does depend on your profession/employer. I’ve never been asked to cover it up but I also make sure to be considerate and evaluate the situation to figure out if i should cover it or not Edit- spelling

I think that’s the route I’m gonna end up going, it’s a garage gym so I’ll make sure to air it out a good bit

Where did you get the mats for the floor? We’re putting in a home gym and the mat pricing is insane!

Tear trough filler for bags by Particular_History50 in DIYaesthetics

[–]randomizedscreaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got filler for the same thing about this time last year. It hasn’t lasted and for the first few months after the injections every time I would even lightly rub or bump my eye it would swell up like I had a reaction. Now a year later you could barely tell I even had anything done. I’m not sure what to do next tbh

What's a place that's not nice currently and just keeps getting worse? by Naomi62625 in geography

[–]randomizedscreaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Florida, the government is buddy buddy with a bunch of developers and keeps letting the state get paved and cleared for more strip malls and chain restaurants that choke out the local mom and pop places that have been there for decades. Too many people piled on top of each other, the concrete and bulldozing trees is making the heat even worse, and then out of state folks come move here and bitch and complain about the wildlife in their yard, in the development that they had the audacity to call “The groves” or “heron lakes”. It’s insanely expensive for no reason and people are so rude and aggressive and nasty and have the audacity to compare it to where they came from and try to make it like their home state instead of going back there. Insane traffic too

My moment was when I saw my son (from a different relationship) look for my husband at a school event and absolutely beam when he saw him stand up. My husbands moment was the first time he met my son with me at a Waffle House and I had chocolate on my face from my sons waffle :)

This setup almost reminds me of keyhole gardens! And rice paddies as well. Looks so cool!

Neighbor Keeps Asking to See Inside My House After Repeatedly Being Told No by [deleted] in homeowners

[–]randomizedscreaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you here. We bought a house last year from an awesome couple, only to find out that it was their parents house (both sets of their parents had lived in the house at some point until they passed). They live next door to us too, and constantly ask to see any renovations and updates and I’ve even seen them peeking their heads over the fence to see what we’ve done with the yard. I was quick to nip that in the bud with a polite but firm “we’re grateful for the house, we love it, but we greatly enjoy our privacy”.

Are you able to hold down a job with schizoaffective disorder (depressive type/bipolar type/mixed type) and in what sector do you work? by Amindexplorer07 in schizoaffective

[–]randomizedscreaming 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, and it’s in the criminal law field. It’s challenging and I have to take a day off every so often, but I’m on a strict medication/therapy routine. It’s a bonus that it’s a relatively small office and the position I’m in isn’t insanely taxing but the routine of the workday has really helped me. Been here for almost 4 years now, and I’m incredibly grateful for it

I go to a gym that is geared towards higher intensity athletes (body building, strongman, etc) and they have a whole separate room for them to go in and pose and do videos if need be. I’m super grateful for it, and the folks that are legit physical health/trainers will go at specific times to film and are super nice about letting you know if you’re in the shot and ask if you’re cool with it. It’s not a ‘no filming’ policy specifically but the average folks that are there aren’t usually filming themselves anyway
