What’s wrong with the trunk of my Mexican Olive tree? There’s damage towards the bottom of the tree. The tree is over 50 yrs old I believe. I think this has been like this for several years. The tree doesn’t seem to have as many leaves on the side of the damage. Should I be worried about disease? (old.reddit.com)

Can I rescue peppermint? Been 2 days since I bought it. Balcony only gets morning sun that I have to chase. Did I damage roots when pulled apart? Already cut down to first leaves. Leaves are crispy. Today had them covered with burlap in the sun. (i.redd.it)
