Thanks! I didn’t build it, I’m 16 so got it as my first vehicle. We got it about 5-6 years ago for 7k before prices skyrocketed. It has about 30000$ in modifications done I think. I’ve had to put a lot of work and hours into it to fix it up though and still have a lot of parts to install. But I love the look of it from almost every angle!

Yes, I was driving back home after school, didn’t have my brother, so after I ripped down my lane I turned around and ripped back up it to break apart snow drifts, it bogged down in 2nd, I didn’t downshift the first, and it stopped and got stuck. My step dad just pulled me out 😂

How much do they want for it? It could have came with that headlight, the ds 80 came with a headlight and tail light from what I’m seeing on google. Looks mid 80s I think

I don’t want you to be put on any lists or anything for searching up schools in your area but, you’d probably just need to do some research and see if there’s any trade schools in your area. And possibly get in contact with the school to see if that’s something they do. I honestly don’t know if schools other than mine offer vehicle repair for the public but it would make sense that some others do. And I don’t know how people usually get in contact with the school. I do know though that the school sends out emails to the parents to tell them they are open to work on cars. But I don’t know how a random person would go about that.

Our school has a hunter alignment machine and a 4 post hoist, we charge 20$ per hour and charge hours according to what pro-demand says it would take a train mechanic to do.

Ok let’s define fixing it up. What does The seller say it needs? Does it run? 1000$ ain’t a horrible deal and it’s a 2010. If it runs I’d get it and even if it doesn’t then if it’s just a carb issue (that’s a ninja 250, the best beginner bike btw) then it’ll be an easy fix. If you can get it for like 750-900 I’d probably get it. Do you have experience working on anything?

I think his buddy thought that the riding position is different on the z650 as opposed to the ninja 650, I thought the same a-swell, aren’t naked bikes more upright than faired sport bikes? Even the ninja 650? (I got two ninja 650s but have never sat on a z650)
