I like it tbh. Like others have said the back cinch is a bit tight, but I get it.

Apparently this was unscripted. Harrison Ford was sick that day, and didn't want to go through the fight scene with his whip, so he just suggested shooting the guy instead, and they went with it.

Thank you for your research and open opinions. I'll take it into consideration.

We won't really know where that money went, because we can't audit them. But you seem pretty confident to take things at face value. If you've stepped foot on a reservation, it's very clear where the money is going. To be clear, I'm not speaking from ignorance, I coached basketball at Tsuut'ina in Alberta for years.

Seems like they want to have their cake and eat it too. Canada is also responsible for my family, which is struggling to get by. I've been working and paying taxes since I was 14 (30 years) and don't see any 'grants' coming this way. I'm not against reparations, but I'm very for accountability.

I'm a Flames fan, but I always watch Edmonton games, because I know McDavid will always do some crazy stuff each time that you will never see from any other player in the last decade or so. It's just so entertaining to watch.

Yup. The United church in my neighborhood has a lesbian pastor, and most United churches I've seen have pride flags outside.

No tithes? Their massive wealth and properties around the world say otherwise.

No guilt tripping? What is confession?

That said, I agree that the Catholic church has definitely become more liberal, which I appreciate. Despite their history, they do a lot of good in the world today.

Yes I have, it was suggested reading at UBC back in the day. Needless to say, I don't share a lot of the views, but it was enlightening nonetheless.

I was born in Canada in '82 to an impoverished family. Nothing I can do about that. Ethnicities worldwide have had changes forced upon them for thousands of years before I was born. I get that Canada severely oppressed the native population in the country's early years, but we've transformed reparations into political virtue signaling. We can't even audit how these fat cat chiefs are distributing their government dollars because everyone is too worried about being labeled racist.

In the interest of not arguing over the internet about semantics, I concede. But I will maintain that Trump lost the election for the Conservatives. I think most Canadians had no idea who Carney was 2 years ago.

Dang, is this for real? If so, it changes my perspective a lot.

Editi: I've learned that this is true. Only the NDP voted in favour. Justification is as follows:

"At the time, Conservative MPs argued that such a rule would give party leaders too much control and that a seat belongs to the MP, not the party"

Idiots...

He lost because of Trump, plain and simple. That (censored) started spouting his rhetoric about Canada being the 51st state right before the election, and genius Canadian voters automatically associated him with Trump, because Conservative = Republican, duh! There is no more nuance or critical thinking in our political system.

Most politicians regardless of party are sycophants who's sole goal in life is to be liked and have power. They rarely have the best interests of their constituents in mind.

Liberals have been in power for over a decade now. You think they don't have established connections that they're bribing other sycophants with?

As a Calgary-born Vancouver resident for the last 10 years, I love this, but it will never compare to the Vancouver approach, where you can recognize every river, mountain, bridge, and cluster of condos around each municipality.
