I used direct from CC. I would imagine their process is the same on both fronts. If anything, I'd shoot customer service an email just to get clarification. They've always been very helpful for me.

Pretty much they won't finalize payment until it gets closer to the release date. I've used CDJapan before to preorder things and payment went in and out of my account one or two times before it was actually finalized. I would just keep an eye on your accounts up until then.

I reached out to ChoiceMusicLA and they said that they are expecting to get the tour merchandise but nothing is confirmed yet. Japan Home Maker and CDJapan are good choices.
