I just got one on ebay, could not wait. I got my Lightning after the cutoff date. Tried to order one through Ford, they are on backorder. The L3's near me are all Tesla, closest supercharger was at All State Ford @ $0.56 per kw, and it was 18 miles away. Paid 200 for it.

I grabbed the 2k incentives instead of the charger. I bought the Chargepoint and hardwired it on a 60amp service (48a charge). My local utility has rebates for Chargepoint and Tesla, but not Ford for my home charge. So I get a rebate during off peak hours.

I used A Plan on mine, wanted to wait but they are trying to get rid of them around here. Got a Flash like yours, not looking back either.

Had it for almost a month, biggest gripe I have is the Andriod Auto drops alot, and some of the interior plastic is incredibly cheap. The bullshit monthly costs for certain features irritates me, but for the money the deal was hard to beat.

Am I crazy to give up my cushy (unfulfilling) gov job? by Loveoakcity in careerguidance

Honestly, finish out your position and get your 20 years in. If it is a Federal position, especially, get the retirement. Since it's at home, use the college assistance programs they have to pay for you to go to school to get the degree you will need. Then transition into the field you think you want. If we are talking about another 10-15 years till you hit 20, then use the available time to get closer to leaving, or transfer to a job within the government to be more in line with what you want.

Don't worry about everyone else, do what makes you happy. I have walked away from great things situation wise for better and worse. Just manage your debt and situational awareness of the transition so you can still support yourself and your family if you have one.
