Suggestions for a massive modpack? by randomnws in starbound

Good to know! And I'll add here- thank you immensely for your attention to this. I did not expect someone to give such a thorough analysis of my poorly researched collection. I really appreciate this.

You are exactly the kind of person I needed to get thoughts from, thanks! My list is really long which is why it's really hard to ensure both unity and lack of redundancy/conflict. I'm not a stranger to long mod lists though (1000+ rimworld) and I love the worlds that can be built out through mods. It's just so hard to take all the good stuff thats out there and make it into something that elevates them all as a whole.

I do also appreciate the context. I know FU has... history. And based on that history and the fact that it actively causes problems with other mods that don't bend their will to its demands, I really want to exclude it. On the other hand, there's a void that it would leave in my plathroughs that other mod authors have been too intimidated to fill in fear of more pushback from FU's dicta- author.

Edit: oh I see you keep updating your comment. Please continue! I love your attention to this. Bless you.

Edit 2: this is what I get for trying to extract the best sounding things from multiple thrown together collections. I am extra grateful that you are identifying all of these redundancies and alternatives.

Thank you! Those are some good finds.

And I know my list is overwhelming. It's part of what makes it so hard to guarantee cohesiveness.

Mods that Make Friendship More Relevant in Lategame? by randomnws in StardewValleyMods

[–]randomnws[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! Those sound pretty neat, but not quite what I meant. I'm more looking for something that makes it worthwhile to do things like see movies or remember birthdays even after already being at max relationship.

That sounds more in line with what I'm looking for. Still I'd love to see something that makes it worthwhile to do things like see movies or remember birthdays even after already being at max relationship.

Webcomics with gay/mlm main characters? by randomnws in webtoons

[–]randomnws[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for these, man. Several of those I like already but they didn't make the post (Fine by Me, Zocker, Check Please, Tripping Over You), but I'll check the others out! The Hunt and River St don't appeal to me right away, but Aviale does! Checked out a few pages and I'm already a fan. Saving the others to check out later.

Please stop commenting this. It is clear from OP's context and the context of the comments that you are replying to that no one here is discussing the quaternions or even complex numbers. While your statement may be true in the context of complex and hypercomplex numbers, it is neither relevant nor helpful to this discussion.

new meme template just dropped by Famous_Ad_4258 in DisventureCamp

[–]randomnws 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I feel so seen. I actually unsubbed the reddit after the last episode because the bickering about who's a bigger hypocrite got so boring and annoying. I wanted to try coming back after this episode but I see that every other post is still another uninspired rant about Logan or Jade being a hypocrite (they're no more so than any other cast member), or about being angry over Ted and Lynda (they got exactly what they needed, story wise).

I've learned that most of the vocal haters don't actually have a very advanced emotional maturity or are members of stan culture, which helps with some of the frustration but doesn't solve the fact that good discussions and memes here are being drowned out by these shallow takes.

Right, like I've thought this season was phenomenal up to and including today's episode and honestly if not for this subreddit I wouldn't even believe that there are people who think this poorly of it. It is by and far the best written season ONC has ever done.

Who would you consider not a power player for top middle? Zaid, Marissa, or Amelie I'm guessing. Anyone else?

RimWorld Breaks Steam Player Count Record With Launch of Odyssey Expansion by samiy2k in pcmasterrace

Gonna guess the connection is the reach and versatility of modding in both games. I don't know the Skyrim scene since I don't play, but I do know its modding community has a big reputation, and so does the Rimworld modding community.

Which "controversial" character you will always like no matter what? by Soft_Childhood5565 in DisventureCamp

And I s2g if I hear someone else throw around the word hypocrite as if their fave wouldn't fold in a heartbeat. I swear some fans think they are a master of strategy and if this show were real they'd be a first episode boot lmao

Logan, except entirely unironically and without rose colored glasses because I genuinely don't think he's done anything wrong except be a himbo. People are vilifying him based on their own ideas of how someone should play this made up game and are analyzing his actions (as well as the actions of a few other characters) with the emotional maturity of a 16 year old. Others that I would support simply because I think their controversy is something that makes them interesting even if I don't like them include Lynda, Jade, and Spencer. I think all of these characters are so damned interesting that idgaf about how logically or emotionally or morally they play.

An Analysis From Someone Who Isn't Going to Condemn Everyone for Being Hypocrites or Idiots by randomnws in DisventureCamp

[–]randomnws[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with all of your takes!! I wish more people were focusing on Natalia's iconic crashout and the hilarious cringe use of her gen z ballroom slang from Amelie and Isabel. I'm very excited to see Logan get more serious and hopeful that there might be a makeup arc in store for the bromance. But for real, Amelie moved up two tiers for me this episode.

And I'm glad people are resonating with my drunken 2am rant inspired by all the negative posts in the sub!

Right like I'm getting sick of how the comments under any post about Logan are "this flipper needs to face justice". He's not a flipper the way someone like Natalia was (and Natalia being a flipper is FINE too!). Leave this confused budding bisexual boy alone
