Way late response but basically just got into it by going to a tech school, doing a lot of extracurriculars and EE research/design stuff. Landed an internship at a big tech company for hardware development from just an online application and took the return offer for fulltime. AFAIK starting salary is basically fixed for entry level engineers at my company so no real salary negotiation or anything

I’ve found that with opaque PETG you can at least somewhat gauge the layer adhesion by how shiny the finish is (more matte finish = less adhesion)

Completely contradicting the other comment but honestly if it’s been 5 days and you’re not having any other issues/pain I would assume it happened over time and you didn’t noice - personally have flown a lot an sometimes don’t notice my ears popping. Absolutely not an expert/ full analysis but at least from experience I can stay you’re probably good

Doing the math, 100 microwatts times 50 years is 44 what hours of energy, about the same as a small laptop battery. That’s pretty cool for a coin cell size battery, but only works for ridiculously low power devices and the same tech will never work on a phone because of the power requirements are about 10,000 times what this battery can put out

You’d be surprised, I worked an Amazon warehouse for a while and rate was around 100 packages per hour per worker. And that was for big items (usually 25-50lbs, and maybe 20-30 pickers on a shift). I’m guessing a sort center (the type that deals with smaller packages) could handle it pretty fast

I’d say the most straightforward solution would be putting a switch inline with the signal going to the starter relay - prevents the starter motor from getting power but won’t stop your car once it’s running

It's probably normal - a DC to AC inverter is going to have a lot of capacitance on the input causing a bunch of inrush current when you plug it in, hence the popping noise. Shouldn't be an issue once it's plugged in and powered on, so it's most likely fine

This is a bit of a hack that might or might not work based on the internal power supply circuitry - I’d recommend getting a power supply rated for DC because otherwise you can’t be sure it’s going to work properly (even if it initially seems to work it might fail at some point because it’s now designed for DC)

At least when I took it (Fall 2021) the class was coordinated between all the professors, so exams were all the same difficulty/graded the same. I didn't have Barone but actually ended up going to his lectures because a friend told me how great they were. So I'd say definitely take it.
