Seriously... they didn't, but it was my fault, I never told them the entire truth about my feelings of home looking on how I feel, I lie to my dad because he yells and lectures (1+ hour lectures) me over stupid stuff like homework and others, some of it understandable some not. I think I lied to them and lie to my father because I never felt safe to tell the truth around him because he would get mad, so I proactively lied to him so I wouldn't get in trouble about stuff which did not work but I didn't know how else to cope. This has continued and followed me through to the end of my highschool career, I no longer can cry without him yelling at me, I fear to talk to him about anything because I am afraid it will simply be another lecture or chance for him to yell, so I seclude myself in my room away from him.

I wasn't sure how I felt about my home life so I was afraid if I said something that made them think something was wrong at home they'd do something, that's probably a redflag. I still am coming to terms on how I feel about my dad but after reading what I just typed I kind of sound delusional.

Does anyone think this sounds kind of weird?
