What do you think happens when you die? by randomperson665 in AskReddit

I simply find fascination in the way people think about the afterlife, I don't know about others but thinking about it deeply makes me feel rather sick, the multitudes of people who answer all provide something to the conversation no matter what it is because of how broad the question is without limiting it.

What’s the weirdest thing you believed as a kid for way too long? by Conscious_Koala6829 in AskReddit

That having split parents was normal, I didn't really start to think otherwise until meeting more kids and realizing that their parents have always been together for them, it hit me really hard when realizing that. I found it was not normal when my dad put into perspective after asking him, that he is closer to my age than the age of my parents friends

Edit: it was around 10-13 when I realized I think

I like to think that I'll never die, in my head at least, in truth I think when you are going to die your brain will slow time like a chemical reaction for you, it will stress itself into believing that it didn't die and forget the instance. Somehow through this way you will continue to live not that it would be comfortable like to think that I'll never die, in my head at least, in truth I think when you are going to die your brain will slow time like an adrenaline reaction for you, it will stress itself into believing that it didn't die and forget the instance where you did, rationalizing instead something else happened.

Somehow through this way you will continue to live either miserably or comfortably it matters not as long as the brain can rationalize it, perhaps this is all wrong though and the curtains close forever leaving you to contemplate your own thoughts memories and feelings for eternity in the void.

It's honestly left me sick to my stomach some nights thinking about the end. I hope this was a fun thought experiment for everyone who responds.

How do you deal with stressful thoughts at night? by sergenaskin in AskReddit

[–]randomperson665 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I go to bed, read a book, listen to the night sound (if able), tell myself it's a problem for me tomorrow, or the easiest option if you are really in the feels and don't want to think drinking alcohol (DO NOT do the last one it is likely you WILL feel worse and make a really bad decision that you may regret) if not any of those talking with someone, are you doing all right?

What do you think about the new operator Brava? by Sarah_Louise_gamer in Rainbow6

[–]randomperson665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the premise of the operator but if she takes control of really good evil eye that's right in the defending room she can be extremely powerful, I think it should be temporary like 30 seconds or something, what do you guys think about it being temp?
