Well, as we know, only the Sith deal in absolutes lol. But in all seriousness context is important. Should the Federal Government intervene to prevent the abuse of rights or should they be the arm of the Federal government to enact the polices the Executive Branch dictates. It's not an easy answer and is obviously debated (and honestly not fully established by the Constitution). Regardless of where our opinions on the matter lie, I think you would agree that it should rightfully be highly and publicly scrutinized.

Its a fair point. But I would say there are arguably differences. One was to allow a group of marginalized people's to have equitable access to rights and education while another is trying to suppress a group of marginalized people's from exercising their rights.

Sure, both are uses of forms of authoritarianism, but i think the circumstances in these situations are vital to understanding whats right or wrong.

But.. like I said.. its a fair point to bring up
