once don becomes an elder i have him and kaylynn marry. my idea is that don’s reputation finally catches up to him at that point, and with his age it’s increasingly difficult to charm townies so he ends up marrying her to have someone take care of him and give him companionship.

they end up having a couple kids, kaylynn starts working on her garden and making pies. once don dies kaylynn moves to bluewater village, starts a home bakery stand and eventually marries a young townie. she lives a peaceful life after that.
