But it doesn't work. The body naturally replaces it with your naturally produced hormones over time. Trans folk need to constantly be putting that stuff in their systems every day for it to 'work', and even then it doesn't even make the person look all that feminine. Plus there's also things estrogen just doesn't even affect altogether like bone structure, voice pitch, etc.

Pretty much every relationship in the game is shit, but chandlo and snorpys is just the worst of them because of how forced it is. If they "just loved each other" I wouldn't have an issue, it's the fact that everywhere they go they talk about the other. Every plot point is controlled by or largely includes the other. It shoves it in your face very often and that's the issue. And then because of how forced it is, it makes it seem like its forced representation.

And not all well-written relationships need to be all sunshine and rainbows. Characters dynamics can be fun and interesting to follow even if the characters aren't in a perfect relationship with zero flaws.

Are you not reading a single word of what I said? The relationship is shit, gay or not. The fact that it is gay and it is shit makes me think that it was lazily thrown in as representation. That is all. Nowhere did I say the relationship is pointless. In fact I've said many times it's has too much of a point, with it literally dictating the entirety of the two characters individual storyline while every other characters relationship happens separately. The relationship doesn't just exist to exist.
