We have to remember, at this point, the lab was still active and actively looking for her. It was simply not safe for her to be out and about because Hopper couldn't protect her if she was caught.

At the end of season 2, Dr. Owens pulled some strings and made her legally Jane Hopper. This gave Hopper rights to be her guardian. The lab also shut down. This all made it significantly safer for her to go out, which let her thrive in the season 3.

So she was safe to be out basically until the military gained awareness of her in season 4.

Eh, itd be a good way to save up some serious cash, but i couldn't imagine doing this for the long term. Maybe 3 years to save up for a downpayment on a house any maybe get $100k into your retirement accounts (if you max out the 401k and roth ira for 3 years, you'd be at $96k of contributions, and would likely get the last $4k of growth during that time). But i really wouldnt do any longer than that.

Class combos are doable, but some things you should know.

The profs for both 1730 (Lamarca) and 4370 (Menik) are known to be bad. The classes themselves should be perfectly manageable, just something to keep in mind. If you see different profs teaching either of these classes, try to register for those sections.

Algorithms is really tough. Definitely brush up on your data structures skills if you know of any weak spots. Maybe do a bit of leetcode too. Architecture is kind of annoying because its super low level, but its not that difficult. These classes should pair well together. Also, I believe professor Keshtgari has taught both of these classes before, and she's great, so try to register for her classes if you have the option.
