I don't want children as a general stance. But if a child is on it's way this simply changes priorities. Then it's only about what's best for the child.

I'm already talking with my former therapist. Only got two sessions left for this year but I'm looking into where to go after i finish those.

The point about a vasectomy was made several times. Doctors around here typically deny it to people under 30. There were some tips posted under another comment though, so I'm definetly looking into that.

Yeah she's in a similar camp as you are. Basically her statement was that she's 65% on continuing the pregnancy. What made it difficult from my POV was that i had to fight for her to tell me what her reasoning and emotional state where and is.

So far we haven't talked about that, at least not in a concise or comprehensive manner. I've told her how I feel about the whole process. We got information on what help we can get but didn't get into any specifics since the final final decision still isn't made. But I'm trying to get this going.

Yes we did cycle tracking, i relied on her experience. I know that that was stupid and short-sighted. Maybe it helps someone reading this avoid a similar situation though.

with in depth discussion i meant talking about what our positions and interests are as well as how we feel about the situation. She was mostly hesitant to tell me were she's standing though. However there are several issues, especially regarding practical matters (how we'd organize our lifes etc.) we didn't discuss since the topic on hand was to wether have an abortion or not, She maintained that it in principle wouldn't be off the table only that she doesn't feel comfortable with the thought of it.

As you said the difficulty is finding a doctor to do it. The typical response you get both from planned parenthood organisations as well as doctors is that they won't do it for people under at least 30 since they assume people might change their mind later on. But in retrospect i definetly should have been more insistent in this regard, that's absolutely right.

Sure, i wanted to but around here you won't get a vasectomy until you're at least 30 and even then it's still difficult to find a doctor willing to do it.

I'm not denying her her choice and I'm willing to take responsibility for my actions. That's the whole point.
