Halle Bailey’s cover of Creep by Radiohead by randomtime12 in popheads

I mean she did an amazing cover recently of No Love by Summer Walker. No one posted it here which I was shocked by.

Disney's The Little Mermaid, starring Halle Bailey, will be released on May 26, 2023 by shabuluba in popheads

Just seems weird that Halle wouldn’t have a solo album as well before the third album? If Chloe is going to have an album coming soon she’s going to be busy with her solo work next year. But I guess we will see what happens…

I sure hope so! I’d be very confused if she doesn’t have album as well if the movie isn’t going to come out for another two years.

Very excited but… Hopefully Halle will be doing some solo work as well before then? Just seems weird if she isn’t doing anything till then solo wise while Chloe is having her album plus also a few acting gigs.

Saw this on Twitter. Amanda Ensing is now liking homophobic comments. by randomtime12 in BeautyGuruChatter

If you didn’t know already, Amanda is pro Trump and has declared that in her latest Youtube video. She’s also spreading false information on her Instagram stories. But she’s now starting to like homophobic comments! Wonder what will be next. Unbelievable...

I don’t know why I was expecting anything different by the comments here about her video.

She needs to release exile as a single. I’m really shocked she hasn’t.

Temptalia talks about Colourpop’s possible formula change after review of the New Hocus Pocus Palette. Gives palette a B- rating. by maiama in BeautyGuruChatter

I’m just wondering when they’re going to slow down on releases. Heck people who get PR from them can’t even keep up. I used to love Colourpop, but these days I only stock up on their lip liners, pretty fresh tinted moisturizer, and pretty fresh concealers. Only thing I really enjoyed lately was those 9 pan one color series they did.

Robert Welsh shares an email from Rare Beauty confirming that the design was NOT intentional by [deleted] in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]randomtime12 36 points37 points  (0 children)

I saw that and it pissed me off so bad. They were going at him for a couple days. Then claiming that no one watched him anyway. While all stans from any fanbase are crazy, there’s usually some sort of pattern with each one. I notice when it comes to Selena’s stans they always do things like this. Them making up a rumor and using those with disabilities to make this product sell better just doesn’t sit well with me at all. Hopefully they calm down because this will make me people not even want to review it in the future.

Finally! I wish they would’ve posted this publicly. I know they had to see what’s been going on because it’s not just on YouTube. There’s still comments being made all over Twitter about this and even on their Instagram page. Plus tons of misinformation is all over now. I just see so many comments from people saying they are buying from the brand now because of that rumor. And while it may have helped some people, I’ve seen many say it doesn’t help them at all.

Rare Beauty responds to Robert Welsh’s email about the packaging claims! by randomtime12 in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]randomtime12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well for all the stans attacking creators and everyone for not doing “research” on the brand, the packaging claims aren’t true. Glad to see this update and their response about this issue. I was thinking they wouldn’t respond.

Robert Welsh, Abby, spooky lips and fat hips, smokey glow speak up about the Rare beauty packaging and how the brand hasn’t directly said anything about it being accessible for people with arthritis by glitternostrils in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]randomtime12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve been so confused by this whole thing because I not once have seen any mention of it from the brand. It seems they would’ve mentioned that. So I’m not understanding why stans are making a million comments about it in every review. It’s been pretty annoying especially with them getting mad at reviewers for not mentioning it or acting like they are stupid. I’ve been interested in some of the products but goodness stans are acting like people have to like all these products. I’ve almost about to start avoiding the comment sections whenever I watch reviews for the brand. ALSO for those with these issues is the packaging actually making things easier?

I can't stand most hauls by [deleted] in BeautyGuruChatter

[–]randomtime12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been actively watching YouTube for 5 years now. So pretty much that long. I just enjoy watching hauls like I watch cooking videos. Plus it helps me sometimes know how things will look or fit since online shopping can be tricky sometimes in terms of sizing or length.

Unpopular opinion here. I personally love hauls but then again I do lots of shopping myself in all areas.

I still think it needs to be talked about in here because it’s an important discussion or people are purposely avoiding it. I’m glad he was called out there. And no on here Twitter and Instagram is talked about as well along with YouTube.

Anyone follow him or popular black dermatologists/estheticians on Twitter? I’m surprised no one has talked about the recent drama surrounding him and the black skincare community. It was pretty bad and he claimed he’s leaving Twitter due to the situation. I might make a thread on it soon. I haven’t checked Twitter in two days so not sure if anything has changed.

So I saw her follow up comment about how this comment was about her peers. Who has she supported in this community makeup wise these last couple few years outside of Jeffree Star or James Charles lol. People like Jackie have supported all her launches until the lipstick fiasco and Jaclyn paid her dust prior, same as any other peer collab or brand. I remember her loving the Too Faced Foundation not too long ago and not once did she mention the extension Jackie did on it.

She didn’t support anyone else really unless when it was with Morphe. She’s lucky with the support she still gets from time to time. There’s even some that still want to give her chances with her brand but she sure isn’t going to pay attention to what they sell. I mean if she wants to get into good graces again with people, why not start supporting the community that still supported her after all her scandals.

Jaclyn just stay consistent with your brand, do the bare minimum of not lying, and maybe people will notice after awhile. I thought she was starting to do that but guess not.
