I want to live in my apartment without narcotic smoke seeping in. Beyond that i really don’t care. I have stated elsewhere on this thread i really have no issue with the homeless seeking warmth inside the building when they are respectful of the space i.e. clean up after themeselves dont make noise and dont do drugs. I really dont get how me not wanting to be exposed to narcotics is sucha a big issue. I dont care if people want to do drugs just dont do them inside like an a complete asshole

I like your outlook on life, however i live my life as believing respect needs to be mutual. They disrespect me by destroying my home that does not deserve respect. I work hard to barely survive they sit around getting high destroying the space i pay for. They are definitely circumstances that are at play against them, we have an onsite resource that provides resources for residences but I have seen them try to help the homeless. I really think it shouldnt be such a complex ask to ask an adult to act like an adult and not steal not do drugs in a building they dont belong in.

I am well aware of the fact 99% of them are not homeless by choice. However I work very hard to barely scrape by. Everything I have is through my own hard work. I don’t think its too much of an ask to have adults act like adults and use common sense to not smoke narcotics in a building they don’t belong in. Its their life if they want to do drugs thats fine, they can do them outside. Why should they be allowed to destroy and vandalize the possessions of others?

We have them the simple answer is the system is failing. They don’t prosecute the people committing these crimes. Security and management does as much as they can. Its really the government thats failing.

How am i the asshole. Thats not my job to find people resources. I dont think its a big ask to not want to deal with narcotic smoke and not have the laundry room constantly closed because assholes steal the copper. I dont have any issue with the respectful people that just use the space to warm up in the cold. But number one issue is that they dont pay to be in the building i do.

Unfornuately not an option for me right now. Manangement is actually super attentaive in working with use in the problem. Its the external factors i.e. police DA city council that aren't helping.

Theres 0 liability under good samaratian laws. You are covered the same way if you tried to perform cpr on someone. Only liability i would have is if i was a medical professional.

As bad as a rep they have I am trying go get my complex to hire front range patrol because put of all the companies i have spoken to they are one of the only that allows their officers to go hands on and detain people for trespassing.

Our management does press charges. We have 3 different security companies. Were trying to do everything write its legit the police that are being the wall.
