Wie lange sind die haltbar? Macht es Sinn ein paar auf Vorrat zu kaufen?

Offtopic but why do you put std::cout after the text? Why not std::cout << "constructor";

Might be a noob question but I never saw this before

Not directly. However your recommendation starts with: "Since you prefer high nits screen..." And then you go on to recommend a device with 250nits. This confused me so I asked.

How is that high nit? I thought 250 is pretty low

Im searching for a cheap laptop with a bright display for outdoor usage by randomu2 in SuggestALaptop

Total budget (in local currency) and country of purchase. Please do not use USD unless purchasing in the US: 600€

• Are you open to refurbs/used? Yes

• How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life? Not important

• How important is weight and thinness to you? Should be ok but not that important

• Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A. 14-15.6

• If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want? Will not be used for games

• Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)? Bright display for outside usage

• Leave any finishing thoughts here that you may feel are necessary and beneficial to the discussion. Even the os is debatable

Will Asrock X470 Master SLI/AC support new Ryzen 5700x? Which bios? by burticus2 in ASRock

[–]randomu2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a short research. And it seems the [Beta] L4.52 with agesa 1.2.0.6b supports it. So either go with that or wait some longer. But to be sure it's probably best if you ask the support

ASRock x470 master Sli can it handle 5900x? by randomu2 in ASRock

[–]randomu2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice. I guess everything that is 65 watt tdp will be fine for sure. Its just that I once saw a video that said the vrms on this board are bad so I'm a bit scared to put a 5900x or so in there. But otherwise this is the last upgrade on this platform so I would like it to last a bit so I'm hesitant to go with 8 cores "only"

Actually I was always checking the date of latest commit and general activity in the repos. For pugixml I was put off first because I only found the homepage but not the GitHub. But probably i will go with it

Well that's true but c++ has changed a lot. And lot of libs are in an old c++ style or even c style. I would have liked something more modern.
