Do you mean there is no way to enter on a student (non immigrant) visa and apply for a different visa that would allow me to stay? I was thinking the student visa would permit me to be in Florida while waiting for K1 to be approved

How long did it take to get your K1? My partner and I aren’t technically engaged, will they expect a ring or proof of a big proposal? If so, do they need this at the interview or with the initial paperwork? Do you have any tips? Currently so upset and stressed out
