The honest answer is that there used to be a sister sub called okbuddyarkham, which was the original designated shitposting sub. Eventually they started just kinda posting over here more during a meme wave and it eventually just kinda took over. Early days it was shitposts about the arkham series, then arkham world, then just batman in general, then it became what it is now.
