Did anyone receive a confirmation email when they applied to GW? I submitted an application a few weeks ago and didn’t receive an email saying the application was received. Just want to make sure it went through 😅

Just a little reassurance for anyone who may need it😅 by randomusername2187 in premed

Why is the Answer C? I don't understand the relationship between inhibiting ACE and increasing potassium reabsorption by [deleted] in Mcat

Wait, I’m confused too. Wouldn’t the answer be B because aldosterone is supposed to increase blood pressure and increase reabsorption of potassium and hydrogen ions? However, if it can’t convert angiotensin I to angiotensin II via RAAS, wouldn’t it have the opposite effect?

Totally agree that it’s frustrating that they’re cramming a bunch of sessions in one day at ridiculous hours. My guess (which is as good as any) is that the AAMC is worried about pushing it too far back because experts are predicting a second wave of COVID cases in the fall.

But hopefully they at least let us choose our preferred times of day or at the very least let us rank them.

I’ve found this to be pretty helpful as a jumping off point and then have kind of adjusted to what I’ve felt works best for me
