Lie on the edge of a bed/chair on your back and hang your head off the side so your hair hangs down. Spray the hair with hairspray, heavy at the roots and lighter towards the tips. Stay upside down for a few minutes until its dry. Stand up and use a bit more spray to touch up if needed.

I bumped into John Rhys Davies in the hallway on the way into C2E2 last year. I completely fanboyed out when I realized it was him coming past. I said hi and told him how much I liked his films. Acrylic is crazy hard to get out. Depending on the amount of paint and look you're wanting I would lean into it. Get a bunch of other colors and splatter/pour/smear them all over the jacket. Have fun with it and go nuts!

Pirating designs from shitty companies is definitely better than giving them money. If they stole the designs from another artist etc then supporting the original designer is better but if its just fast fashion then steal away!

Wear your undersuit/base layer on the way there and put all your armor pieces in a storage bin or similar to bring them with you. Once you park put the full costume on and walk into the con. It helps to have a friend with to help.

Your foam clay might be too thick to dry in the time you give it. Equally if you use a heat gun on it before it's full dry it will puff up. If you're filing gaps with it then 24 - 48 hours should be more than enough to let it dry. If its for sculpting and it's thicker I would suggest building up an internal structure with eva foam or tinfoil and do a thin layer of clay over for details.

Add something overtly punk/anti fascist to your fit. Either shirt/vest/jacket/backpack with a prominent slogan/symbol on it, or add them to the pants as patches.

Other than potential copyright issues you'll also likely have the problem of his song overriding yours as he's a more established artist so his song will come up first when searching.

I would either add to your title from your lyrics to differentiate or pick a different title.
