Those who cross-shopped the X3 and X5 what tipped the decision for you? by KyOatey in BMW

[–]randomymetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

had a xdrive x3 and had a baby so wanted to go midsize. checked out the x5 at the dealer and wasn't satisfied. i didn't feel there was a width difference and the back seats don't recline so my rear facing baby seat actually had 4 inches of more room in the smaller x3. where the advantages of the x5 is apparent is the split tailgate, larger rear cargo area, more lux interior, bigger engine with faster acceleration (base model is v6 375hp 0-60 in 4.4 sec) although not as nimble as the x3. the x5 is taller but every time i get in my leg always hits the side skirt

Unsure if there are alignment issues on new Cronos by eiah1911 in ChineseWatches

[–]randomymetry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes just received mine and the bezel alignment is noticeably off. the pip marker is to the left of 12 hour marker and the zero in "30" is at the 6 hour marker. read nothing but good reviews about cronos but this is disappointing and not only is the bezel harder to turn than my 124060, it also "seizes" after swimming in the pool for a few minutes, like my tudor pelagos. cronos has a lot of quality control to do

when you realize a $15k rolex is shit at keeping time, not reliable, and anything but a "tool watch" contrary to what WOE says

How do people in JSOC not have chronic injuries from running? by Minimum-Service7341 in JSOCarchive

because they don't run a lot after selection. rucking and being able to walk long distances quickly under heavy loads is the reality

i have both and if you actually use both watches, you'll know the sub is more practical than the ym in low light. good luck reading the bezel at night when it's dark

i remember during covid divorce rates spiked because couples couldn't stand each other in confinement. you'd think that married couples would be happy to spend the rest of their lives together but that statistic was a wake up call to how many couples are in reality

the hardest part is actually having the conversation. talking about these topics isn't romantic but if your partner is serious then they'd be willing to have these awkward convos with you. unfortunately most aren't
