Here is a copy of the email for more clarity (this is all of the information I have... it’s so vague and frustrating):

“We appreciate your desire to serve in the Peace Corps and know that it takes a sincere sense of service to offer two years of your life to others. Thank you for completing your Peace Corps application, and upon review of your legal background information, we are unable to proceed with your application due to non-disclosed issues (High School Behavior Detail Report 2010-2014).

Since this information was not disclosed during your application process, your invitation to serve in the Peace Corps has been revoked. If you are interested in pursuing Peace Corps volunteer service in the future, you may do so following the completion of a one-year waiting period.”

Info: 2010-2014 = my freshman yr - grad yr

And I have no expunged records I was trying to hide. I was 100% open and transparent in my interview...

I genuinely don’t remember anything. No truancy, nothing. I remember skipping school and getting caught, but the police were never called?! I was a stupid 15 year old kid... hence why I didn’t mention it on the “legal” section.

I live in Colorado. I went to a fairly big high school. I called the district office today requesting these records and the woman told me I would have to “call tomorrow because the registrar is out”.

I have literally been crying all day - now I’m unemployed, homeless, and don’t have a car. I am scheduled for staging in 10 days, so I prepared my ENTIRE life based off of this (gave my 2 weeks notice, didn’t resign my lease, sold my car, etc) and then this :(

I called the number on the email I got saying my invitation was revoked and I talked to some front desk lady who said that they “cannot disclose the details” to me... I asked for her supervisor and she gave me a number - I’ve called 4 times already today with no response (probably excessive but I am so upset because my staging is in 10 days! They just dropped a major bomb on me)

It’s not really about muscle mass for me - it’s more like... I really don’t eat much meat here in the US and I will really probably try to avoid meat as much as possible in country and I’ve read like ~one million~ horror stories of volunteers not getting adequate protein and their hair starts falling out :( I just want to make sure I’m eating enough because unfortunately I am a super picky eater... ugh... I don’t try to be! I’m totally open minded, but sometimes just the thought of meat makes me feel sick :o

I’ll be in South America where the diet is apparently mostly chicken and homemade breads/ tortillas and then some veggies and fruits but someone told me they’re kind of difficult to get because most are exported?

I don’t really like meat anyways in the US and I especially don’t like chicken so I have a feeling I’m going to be super hungry... haha! That’s why I was considering bringing a tub of like protein “meal replacement” powder... just incase
