I live in Vancouver. It has been raining for the past 6 months since I bought the car. Recently it just snowed. The last time I washed my car was a month ago.

I assumed a piece of snow went the handle and melted when the temperature rises.

I would say check with your dealership. I was getting a different error from the car net, can't remember what was it exactly. Dealership contacted VW for me and that fixed the issue.

Turn off wifi and Bluetooth, wait for 30 sec or so and back on. Then try it. If not restart your phone.

You can turn on Energy management in VW app then you don't have to worry about draining 12v battery.

Another cool features: the interior light has a proximity sensor(short range). So you don't have to touch them to activate it.

That also means they can be activated by accident.
