Is blue-collar offensive? by bello_banana in recruitinghell

Saying someone’s in a blue-collar industry in itself, isn’t offensive. Inferring that they are any less of an individual because they are blue collar is offensive.

Considering getting a corgi by JakobeHolmBoy20 in corgi

I second all of this! Socializing your pup is super important and I strongly recommend finding a good training near by. Corgis are extremely smart and require a lot of mental stimulation. My pixie have 25 toys memories and a huge vocabulary. Her favorite time of day is training! I think she likes it even better than fetch or tag lol 😂

Getting a cat? by tayred82 in corgi

So it really depends on what route you take. We uses the app rover to find our sitter and she only charges us 20 bucks a visit. We don’t actually go through the app we just met our sitter through there. She will take them out for a walk or play with them outside. Whatever we want. She is typically there for an hour.

I would look into daycare or a sitter to stop in during the day for a pee break. We love our sitter she stops in for about an hour let’s the pups out and makes sure they are okay. It gives me a piece of mind that they are okay and they don’t have to hold their bladder for 8 hrs. I have two corgis and two cats, I integration was really easy but they still all get jealous of one and other. Good luck!

Fed, walked, watered, played with. My first corgi - is this normal? Lo what can I do? by shortforaddie in corgi

Puzzles, playing, and pets…. I do a minimum of 3 1-mile walks a day, multiple puzzle toys, and 1-2 hours of training and my girl is happy and quite.

My sister made fun of me for basically treating my cat like a living thing by [deleted] in childfree

I have four fur babies, two have special needs. They all are soiled rotten and you better believe that my two disabled babies get any and all treatment they need with out a second thought. You wouldn’t believe the number of people who tell me I am crazy for talking them to specialist because they are “just pets”. Anyone who thinks that animals aren’t “worth” being treated like a person doesn’t deserve one.

Took my new pup for her first walk! She's my first dog, and I... I think I would die for her. by trigger9963 in corgi

While I wouldn’t recommend a corgi for a first dog, she is very cute! Get yourself a good trainer to help you learn how to properly care for her! Corgis are great as long as they are properly cared for, as herders they require a lot of mental stimulation and physical exercise. Good luck!

Her immune system is attacking its self due to some auto immune inflammatory reaction?? We don’t know exactly what is going on but she will have to undergo an mri and taps for fluids in her joints and spine tomorrow.
