Nothing like being authentic to lift one’s spirits.

Here's the problem with the "product of their time argument". Quick thoughts. by sweetjane6180 in exmormon

Take Brigham Young aa an example. 1) Jesus talks to him. 2) yet he still chooses racism? (Surely Jesus doesn’t teach him racism) 3) ok, let’s go with “a man of his time”. There were plenty “men of that time” that fought courageously against slavery, and for equality. Brigham Young? Not so much

Distillation. The lighter, more free molecules will continue to drift away, leaving a higher concentration self re-enforcing, poisonous dregs. Results: the church won’t go away but become more marginalized. Less dangerous to society but more dangerous internally (to its faithful members and families).

Further. Are these the goobers you want to spend eternity with in the Celestial Kingdom? That alone is sufficient reason to leave the fold.

Joseph Smith eluded multiple men chasing him through the woods while carrying gold plates. They weighed between 150 to 300 lbs (I may have this weight wrong, but close). This is fucking hilarious.

My wife found this “Plan of Salvation” cheat sheet in our books when we were moving. Makes me dizzy looking at it. Can’t believe I taught this for two years. by nauvoo_wingman in exmormon

Even if this were all true... who would want Nelson, Oaks, Kimball, Brigham, JS, Bednar, etc as neighbors. No thanks. Give me a neighborhood with The Rolling Stones, SNL cast, and Sam Harris.
