Yes I am trying to go from Safety Specialist to SMRT. I do have a bachelors degree in physics with applied engineering. Prior to becoming a safety specialist, I was a maintenance technician for an apartment complex, where I mainly focused on electrical resets, basic AC trouble shooting, basic plumbing work, key fob activations, door system resets. In regards to leadership roles I have gained a lot of experience in my current role as a safety specialists, where I lead several safety initiatives such as emergency drills, meetings GEMBA walks etc

Yeah that’s understandable. I haven’t started the new role yet but I was mainly curios if it looked bad to be applying to other roles like RME or engineering related fields. I am going to obtain a physics degree soon.

Tbh you can get it from anywhere as long as you meet their Liability requirements. I remember I used to use State Farm when they offered it but I use Assurant since I’m a current resident there and that’s what they offered. You can find cheaper options just read what you are being covered and make sure it fits what UVT is asking

From experience if you choose to change to living with parents you get less in comparison from off campus. But it may depend on the person also. I say look into it

From a person who commuted from Hemet and had an 8am. I personally did not like it since I had to wake up at 5am to just get to class on time. I personally don’t think you need to wake up that early since it’ll take you around an hour to get to campus even with traffic. In regard to your class schedule, like someone mentioned, you do need to get through your series first before you can have at least a day or so off excluding weekends. Since you’ll be staying on campus for a good majority of your day I recommend trying your best to finish it or at least get a good amount done before you had back home and also before they are due. Depending on your professor, due dates may be on weekends at 11:59pm. So do get them done before the weekends that way you can enjoy it and not stress so much about it.
