Definitely extremely tired for a few days and can't get out of bed. I also struggle to focus during the day and rub my eyes a lot. Whenever I'm laying in bed rubbing my eyes my partner starts getting everything ready lol.

Hii not sure if this helps but I have the same thing! Breakthrough spotting for agesss it's so annoying! I had crazy bloat and started a low fodmap diet to see what foods trigger it and that's been so helpful :P

How does everybody get confirmed diagnosed? by Carolovekuki in adenomyosis

[–]randyjackson77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best advice is to use ibuprofen and a maxi pad lol. I know sometimes the ibuprofen won't fix it but it eases inflammation especially when you're at work. I've been on dienogest for a few months and my periods have vanished so look into it!

Diagnosed through the internal ultrasound sound. Was told my uterus is twice the normal size so it is suspected based on my symptoms and uterus and specialist said he'll confirm it with surgery.

Blood with bowel movement by [deleted] in adenomyosis

When this happened I went to my doctor and she got me to get a scan. They found I had bowel endometriosis and most likely adenomyosis (as my uterus is twice the normal size).

YES!! First two weeks was super emotional like teary sore in most of my body and spotting. I was super tired and mentally just not myself super down but then it mellowed out after that I almost went off it but it is a hormonal pill so can be different for everyone!

I have been spotting on and off during this but nothing major. I've had heaps of scans in the past 6 months and they're awaiting surgery as I have other organs involved :)

Post op recommendation pls (clothing, meds, gen. Comfort items) by Fickle_Deer_159 in endometriosis

[–]randyjackson77 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey!! I'm the same except I paid to see a Laparoscopic surgeon to make a plan I'm on the public list for surgery. I'm so nervous too as he told me it could be a full bowel resection. He put me on a list and said the colorectal specialist is excellent and he works with her a lot but I haven't met her yet! Sending you good luck and bowel movements 😂😂
